Ranjan Roy is the father of Samaya Roy-Yang, whose loss to a rare neurological condition in 2023 changed the course of his life's work. With a career spanning finance, retail, media and technology, Ranjan is now focused on a deeply personal mission: advancing our understanding and treatment of conditions that affect both the brain and immune system. His experience building and growing organizations and driving technology-led innovation now serves a new purpose - creating meaningful change in a field of medicine that touches countless lives but needs greater attention and resources.
Janie Yang
Education & Community
Janie Yang is the mother of Samaya Roy-Yang and serves as Director of Early Learning Center and Lower Division Admissions and Enrollment at Avenues: The World School. Following the loss of her daughter to FIRES in 2023, Janie has dedicated herself to supporting other families navigating similar challenges through her work with the NORSE Institute's family sessions. Her background in education and language immersion has given her a unique perspective on the importance of clear communication and empathetic support during times of crisis. Drawing from her own experience and professional expertise in nurturing young minds, Janie is committed to ensuring that families facing devastating neurological conditions receive the understanding and care they desperately need during their most challenging moments.
Alfred Iloreta, MD
Medical & Healthcare Innovation
Dr. Alfred Marc Iloreta serves as Assistant Professor of Head/Neck Surgery, Neurosurgery, and Artificial Intelligence at Mount Sinai, where he is also System Director of Minimally Invasive Skull Base Surgery. After completing his medical degree and a Master's in Neuroscience, he has focused on advancing surgical techniques and medical innovation through research and clinical practice. As co-founder of biotech device company Pharynvac and a collaborator with Sinai Biodesign, Dr. Iloreta bridges the gap between surgical expertise and technological innovation. His research spans neurostimulation, tumor treatment, and the application of artificial intelligence in surgery, earning him multiple grants and recognition from organizations like NIH and the North American Skull Base Society. With nearly 100 peer-reviewed publications and numerous patents, he continues to push boundaries in both surgical practice and medical technology development.
Charlotte Morgan

Charlotte Morgan is the Chief Legal and Administrative Officer at Adore Me, where she brings her expertise in both law and organizational leadership to help guide the company's growth. Beyond her day-to-day role, Charlotte has dedicated significant time to bringing together legal leaders in the tech community through her board work with TechGC, while also championing health-related causes through active fundraising efforts, particularly in support of Type 1 Diabetes research through the Breakthrough T1D organization. Her career, spanning both startups and established companies, reflects her belief in using legal and management skills to create positive change - whether in business or through charitable work that impacts people's lives.
